Manual Chiropractic Care

Gonstead and Diversified techniques are the more traditional hands on techniques most people associate with chiropractic and the most widely used. The Chiropractor will first locate reduced movement at a spinal segment through chiropractic testing and palpation. A specific adjustment is then applied with the hands to restore joint function and alleviate pain.

Diversified

This is the most commonly used adjustment technique by Chiropractors and involves a mixture of both short and long lever manual adjustments to restore proper joint function and alignment to the spine.

Gonstead

Gonstead is a manual chiropractic technique, developed by Dr Clarence Gonstead (USA). It involves specific biomechanical spinal analysis and short lever adjusting to restore joint function, improve spinal range of motion and alleviate pressure on the nervous system.
