Activator Method

The Activator method is a Chiropractic technique, which uses a spring loaded, hand held instrument called an activator. The Activator instrument allows fast impulse adjusting to spinal regions and peripheral joints. The Impulses from the activator are so fast the patient is less likely to tense and resist the treatment. The lack of muscle resistance increases the techniques effectiveness. The Activator instrument is also very specific with its application and can usually be done from more neutral spinal postures. This minimises the need for twisted spinal positions and is very comfortable. These gentle impulse adjustments amplify neuromuscular control of the spine, improve spinal movement and alleviate pain.
